Viewing: Fyi / Updates

Stay informed.

The best way to know what's happening here is to read 'Notes'. (Anything significant is mentioned there.)

An easy way to do that is with my rss and email updates.

Both deliver new stuff almost as soon (usually within minutes) as it's published.

Rss.

My rss feed is available:

  • Here.
  • In a variety of formats from Google Feedburner.
  • And by email from Google Feedburner (your details remain confidential, and you can instantly unsubscribe anytime).

Unsure about rss? Simply… it automatically-and-regularly gathers new stuff from sites in which you're interested, so you can read it without having to visit the site.

You can read rss files in modern web browsers, email programs, and newsreaders (FeedDemon (for Windows) and RssOwl (for Windows), and NetNewsWire (for Mac) are free, simple and work well).

And, despite the demise of the much-missed Google Reader, there's a variety of online alternatives… of which we're happy to recommend 'AOL Reader' (because it works well, is simple, and free).

Email.

If you prefer updates by email…

  • Use my Google Feedburner service.

Your details remain confidential, and you can instantly unsubscribe anytime.

Not only, but also…

And don't forget Twitter and Facebook, for loose and free-rolling conversational stuff.

My Twitter tweets are viewable onsite, without visiting Twitter.
